Crumbly Coffee Cake
It doesn’t get much better than a sweet, crumbly slice a heaven!

Ingredients and Instruction:
CRUMBLE TOPPING
• 4 tablespoons melted butter
• ½ cup light brown sugar
• ½ cup all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon & a pinch of salt
• 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Mix all of these ingredients into a crumbly mixture and set aside.
CINNAMON SUGAR FILLING
• ⅓ cup light brown sugar
• ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Mix together and set aside.
COFFEE CAKE BATTER
• 8 tablespoons butter softened)
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 cup milk (or 1/2 & 1/2)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
Directions:
Mix together the butter and the sugars until combined.
Next add the eggs, sour cream, milk and vanilla.
Finally, mix in all the dry ingredients until it resembles pancake batter- it doesn’t have to be totally smooth.
Time to layer in the pan and then bake!
Add half the batter to a greased baking dish (8x8 or 9x13).
Next sprinkle the cinnamon sugar filling mixture on top of the batter in the pan.
Add the second half of the batter to the pan and spread over the cinnamon sugar filling.
Finally, add the crumble topping.
Bake @ 350 for 40-50 mins depending on your oven and pan size. Enjoy! Now go get your hot coffee to enjoy!
